Hello!

My name is Katie Burnham Wilkins. I am the florist behind KBW Floral Design in Columbia, Missouri, where I create beautiful floral arrangements for clients in Mid-Missouri.

I have always loved flowers, and especially enjoy making floral arrangements for our home, as hostess gifts and to help family and friends celebrate milestones. 

In 2015, I decided to launch KBW Floral Design to expand my services and offer floral design for weddings, corporate events, editorial and special occasions. 

We love to use local flowers whenever possible and frequently partner with Happy Hollow Farms and the Missouri Flower Exchange which is a Flower Farmer Collective in Columbia, MO that sells gorgeous flowers and greenery from the following Missouri flower farms: Cultivate Co., Three Creeks Farm + Forest, Titus Creek Flowers, Wild Sage Goods, Mostly Meg, River Road Blossoms, Rudy Lane Flower Farm, Todd Flower Farm and Ramble Ridge Farm.

When I'm not creating floral arrangements, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, going to the Columbia Farmers Market, exploring antique stores and estate sales, swimming at Southwest Swim Club, walking the MKT trail and spending time with my friends. In my other job, I’m a social worker and an adjunct instructor with Mizzou’s School of Social Work.
